Battle of the Books begins for 4-6th gds.!! This is sponsored by the Flower Mill in Tarkio, Missouri. Students will read a series of books that are selected for this year. They will be signed up on a team that consist of 3-4 students. Each student on the team is to read at least 4 books to participate and if they want they can read all of them. Each team must know the name of the book and the author. The Battle of the Books will be sometime towards the end of March at the Tarkio Resource Center. It will be the parents responsibility to get their child to the battle. The students will have snacks and prizes during the contest. Our students will be competing with students from Tarkio and Rock Port. Parents may attend and watch the battle. Mrs. Bredensteiner will keep you informed of this event. Students may check out books from our library at school. They can even check them out at the library downtown. If you have any questions, please let me know.
